TAP Summer 2012

We are offering exciting TAP Summer Programs including Summer Camps at Streetsville Children's Centre with Olympics and International Themes, TAP Adventures Tuesday Trips and Weekdays Wed./Tues. Afternoons and Saturday Program. 

 

*TAP on Saturday runs in July and August from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, full days, single hour and four hour special rates are available.  The eight week sessions can be used up any time during the summer months up to September 8th, 2012.

Your children will enjoy the activities of the Therapeutic Arts Program, in addition to indoor and outdoor sport games and play.

5:30 – 6:30 Story Time and Cooking Dinner

6:30 – 7:30 Visual Arts/Group Sports

7:30 – 8:30 Yoga or Photography/Gardening

Cost:

One evening - $60

TAP's First Eco Trip

On April 21st TAP kids, team, siblings and parents went on an excursion to Rattary Marsh Conservation Park in Mississauga.  The trip was a great success even in a cool weather.  We walked through the trail and observed our natural environment we saw Swans and their nest, Red winged Black birds, Robins and lovely yellow bird.  We saw the marsh and many grasses and trees.  On the rocky beach we learned about how the rocks called Shingles helped to create the marsh by obstructing the flow of the creek into the lake.  We made rock signs of our two teams: Tidal Waves and Rock Stars.  We had snack there too. On our way back we played a discovery game where we had to find different parts of the natural environment.   The closing ceremonies were held at the hill of Green Glade School were we took group photos and checked out the results of the game.  All kids loved to roll down the grassy hill and had lots of fun.  When we got to parking lot everyone had such a good time that they did not want to leave.  It was a great experience for all of us and we look forward to having another outing soon.  At the beginning of June we plan to have TAP picnic.
