About TAP

Therapeutic Arts Program for children and youth with Special Needs and Autism (ages 4 years to 21)

The Therapeutic Arts Program (TAP) offers children a time to recharge, grow and have fun with the arts in a creative, stimulating, and healing environment. TAP is an exceptional forum for children to meet their developmental milestones, learn social skills and connect with the arts. While creating stimulating environment in a group setting, TAP is dedicated to help children reach their full potentials and embrace school environment by letting them develop their unique talents and their interests, having time for play, and building on their skills.  Children also process and express their feelings and build friendships. There is a high staff to client ratio in small groups. Children can attend on a drop-in basis or enroll for half or full days.

Children will be organized into small groups; 6 maximum. There will be 4:1 ratio of children to staff. For 1:1 needs, special arrangements can be
made. Please inform us if the client has additional individual needs.

All programs are expected to run for approximately 45 mins. Until the start of the next program, children may have a snack; enjoy free play and weather permitting, go outside to our playground.
